“ Good neighborhood Greek spot. I'm there most often for lunch, and they have a reasonably priced lunch special for souvlaki sandwiches and fries (or salad for a small upcharge). I usually get the chicken souvlaki, and the pita arrives stuffed with tzatziki, fries, tomatoes, onions, and lots of chicken. Their house salad is one of my favorite types of salads, so I often pair that with the sandwich for a very satisfying meal. We're also a fan of their saganaki appetizer, and my kid could eat almost the entire block of fried cheese on his own. Seating is both inside and in the backyard, and they also do a lot of takeaway orders. ”
“ My favorite Greek spot in Bay Ridge. Never disappoints me. Food is always fresh and well Prepared. Dine in or take out it's always good. ”
“ We sat in their cute backyard! The waiters were so kind and attentive! We really enjoyed our selection of food! The food was fresh and delicious! Had a great time here! ”
“ Met here for dinner with some family. We sat out in there backyard which was nice and airy and extremely nice. We had a smattering of thing I had salmon over rice that came with a great side salad. There was a traditional spanakopita which was very good also. We also had a chicken kabob plate and a large house salad. Everyone really liked there meals. And I'd go back ”
“ They offer Quick delivery and great food in Brooklyn. I haven't been in location but the food is delicious with decent portions. ”
“ I frequent this location often! One of the few meals you can enjoy with flavor and just the right amount of food without feeling sluggish! There few things i recommend are the chicken Slovaki, gyro and lamb combo, and the grilled mixed. All superb. ”
“ Been here a few times and food tastes great. Ambience is friendly and rustic. Highly recommended. ”
“ There are so many "Greek" restaurants in this area of Bay Ridge that I often get them confused. This one is the WINNER that I won't forget the next time. Fast service, with a warm interior and friendly host. When you get a craving for a gyro, it needs to be right, and this was an amazing experience for my taste buds. I love it, and won't forget where to go next time. ”
“ 5 Stars! I wanted to single out Something Greek as a place residents of Bay Ridge and everyone else can go to for "comfort food" especially as we enter the fall season. The manager John is the main reason this restaurant is so good! He has a natural ability to connect with customers and make them feel welcome. He makes it a point to know customers by name, ensure everything is right, will find a way to make sure what is advertised to eat is available. How is Something Greek different? They say to be honest, we are not reinventing the wheel here -but perhaps that's the point. We cook rustic Greek food the same way our Mama did when we were growing up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. We prepare and marinate our gyros and souvlaki to taste the same as those we ate at home and in Greece. Our philosophy: do it right with high quality ingredients and make it taste good. Freshness and authenticity are of ultimate importance to us. The restaurant has a clean, homey, look. Great prices and have barely raised any of their prices since before the COVID pandemic hit. Here's one example.....How about a fresh great size portion of salmon, salad, pita bread, rice or lemon potato's all for under $16?? Wait? What?? Yes that's correct and the quality stands up to any other restaurant you will pay $30 to $50? elsewhere. They have outdoor garden seating in the spring, summer and fall, offer gyros wraps, Souvlaki, Dolmas, Keftedakia hand rolled greek-style meatballs, Dolmades, Spanakopita, Saganaki, Bifteki sandwiches, Tiropita, pitas, salads such as Marouli salad, soups, some of the best burgers, deserts, wine, beer a daily special, Greek favorites such as Pastitsio - Greek Lasagna, large portions and a friendly wait staff. Kevin another employee is also a friendly and dedicated worker who will step up when John is not there. Whether it's wait in, pick up or take out you can count on the food being great. You can't go wrong eating here and I would highly recommend you trying them if you have not done so yet. ”
